Lead Paint Abatement
As lead paint has been found to cause brain damage, the EPA requires homes built prior to 1978 to be checked for lead paint if windows or doors are to be replaced. There is no additional charge to check for the presence of lead paint when we estimate for replacement products. However, if found, procedures must be followed to reduce or eliminate contamination from lead paint dust. Rocky Mountain Windows & Doors, has trained individuals, and is a certified contractor in the State of Utah for the abatement. Therefore, additional charges would be applicable, due to the materials needed and additional time required.
